Phil Hogan

My next guest is certainly no newcomer to the world writing stage having been a journalist at The Observer Newspaper for over 20 years. He has written a number of books over the years, always gaining acclaim for his high quality of writing and style. But now, he has written, A Pleasure and a Calling, a novel that will send a shiver down the spine of every homeowner worldwide.

Author Phil Hogan is a Yorkshire man, born in a small, sooty town. As a young man he emigrated from the North of England to find fortune and love in the hustle and bustle of Southern England. He now resides in a small, leafy Hertfordshire town. With a wife and brood of four children it is little wonder that family life has been the centre of previous works, which include; All This Will be Yours, The Freedom Thing, Hitting the Groove and Parenting Made Difficult: Notes from the Alphabet Soup of Fatherhood.

Amidst being a partner in the aforementioned domestic engineering business, Phil, remarkably, has managed to work in an additional role as a full time journalist for The Observer Newspaper, where he has worked now for over 20 years.

I am delighted to announce that Phil Hogan has agreed to run the gauntlet of Simons 10 Q Interviews, so come back soon to see how we get on.
