Should anyone be interested or care Rene Devote is dead.
Her life was an unimportant one.
A drunk, an addict, prostitute. A mother
Unfit to raise a child.
She lived out her days slumped over
The bar of a thousand dives around the world.
Every evening she fell in love
For Fifteen minutes,
Nine or ten times a night--dreaming
Of being taken…
