I will be in New Orleans this weekend attending the Undead Con and the 25th Annual Vampire Lestat Reunion Ball. What better way to celebrate than by kicking it off with a vampire inspired Hump Day Kick Start.

Who are our duo? Is he a centuries old tortured soul about to regrettably dine on his lovely victim? Perhaps he’s tired of  his macabre way of life and cursing himself and his thirst. Has he fallen for her, warring with himself as to making her his mate for all of eternity, or to not bring her into his world of suffering? What if he’s just in costume and she’s the real vampire. Maybe they are both vampires from battling territories intertwined in a deadly game, trying to seduce one another before going in for the kill. Conversely, maybe they are lovers, meeting in clandestine against their leaders commands. Getting caught is punishable by death.

*sniff, sniff* Is that garlic on your breath, my dear?
