Interview with Decadent Publishing’s 1Night Stand author, Sara Daniels
I’m so happy to be apart of a wonderful publishing company and a fun series. Decadent Publishing is celebrating the upcoming release of the 200th 1Night Stand story. Yes, that’s right 1Night Stand is turning 200! Well it’s a 200 books birthday. That is so awesome! So in celebration, us authors and some bloggers are doing different events and promos during the week. Today I have Sara Daniels with me to talk about her 1Night Stands.

Hello Sara! I’m so happy to have you over today to talk about your Decadent Publishing 1Night Stands! Can you start off by introducing yourself? What do you write? What do you do in your spare time?
Hi, Lia. Thanks for letting me come over to play. 
I write what I love—irresistible romance, from sweet to erotic and everything in between. On the personal side, I’m a frazzled maid, chef, chauffeur, tutor, and personal assistant. I battle a serious NASCAR addiction and was once a landlord of two uninvited squirrels. Spare time?? Bwahahahaha! Between writing and family life, I don’t see much of that. But whenever I get the chance, I like to go for long walks and bike rides, preferably surrounded by beautiful scenery and nature.
What was the first 1Night Stand you wrote?
The first 1Night Stand I wrote was More Than a Fantasy.
Regina’s fantasies about her hot marketing assistant, Gabriel, are interfering with her focus at work. In desperation, she turns to Madame Eve to give her a one-night stand with a man who looks just like him. When the Gabriel arrives in her hotel room, she must choose between walking away and playing out her daydreams with the real thing. Their one night becomes a wrestling match for control as Regina strives to keep the upper hand. But Gabriel is just as determined to show her how to work together for business and for pleasure.
As passion trumps protocol, their one-night stand quickly becomes much more than a fantasy.
I had fun writing mine. Was More Than a Fantasy as fun to write as the others are to read?
It was a blast! I find one-night stands fascinating. After one encounter, the people involved are expected to go blithely on their way with no emotional implications. Yet, sex is held up as the ultimate in intimate, vulnerable experiences. As a romance author, I love to blur the line between matters of the heart and pure physical expression.

One Night With the Bride is my other 1Night Stand. In this story I was able to incorporate my favorite romance trope—the reunion of past lovers.
When her society matron mother presents Caroline with a one-night stand date a week before her wedding, she’s appalled. Even worse, the encounter will take place at the fantasy ranch resort operated by her high school lover, Javier Alvarado. Although determined to remain faithful to her fiancé, she’s tempted and intrigued to see her first love again. It’s not like she has to sleep with him.
But one look and kiss later, she yearns for the man she walked away from so long ago. Unfortunately, when Javier discovers Caroline is engaged, all he can see is deception and heartbreak all over again.
Can a 1Night Stand from Madame Eve reunite them or will one night with the bride sever their ties forever?

One Night with the Bridesmaid, sequel to One Night With the Bride and another 1Night Stand story, will be coming out near the end of the year. I also have a new release from Decadent’s Challenge series: Captivating the CEO
