Think Out Loud [28] Mantras

My stepbrother once said to me, "Don't let them fool you, Robyn. Theology is just religion." When I remember this moment we're sitting on a bench, he has his guitar on his lap, I'm in my Catholic school uniform, and his words light up the darkness. It's become a mantra, a weird one that I pair with a knowing smirk. In the movie Sliding Doors, a line is pulled from Monte Python, "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition." I love that one.
