Gettin' there! - edited
I am 1/3 of the way through my final edit. I'll be reaching out to a local publisher. Assuming he rejects the book, I'll be releasing it shortly thereafter using eBookIt.
I hope to have the final edit done this weekend or next. Then I have to format it properly for eBookIt. That will likely take another week. Then I am going to reach out to that local publisher, and wait for him. He's usually pretty fast. In short, this book will be available in the next couple of months. Unless the world ends, I will, at the very least, post it here for people to download. If the publisher later on decides to pick it up, I can just take it down.
EDITED TO CHANGE/ADD
If you read this post a week ago, you'll notice that it's changed. I had seriously considered releasing the book for free. However, I have changed my mind on that on. I won't be using Smashwords. I'm sure they're great, but eBookIt.com gives me access to Amazon.com, where a lot of my sales come from. Also, I won't be releasing it for free. I'll probably sell The Ambassador's Clerk for around $3.
