OverDrive App and iOS 7

OverDrive Media ConsoleIf you are a user of KDL’s free eBooks on an iOS device (such as a iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch), please read this important update:

When an existing user of the OverDrive Media Console (OMC) app for iOS upgrades to iOS 7 (released yesterday), the app will fail when trying to open a DRM-protected eBook. (Those who download the app after installing iOS 7 are not affected by this issue)

OverDrive is working to resolve this issue, but in the meantime, try deauthorizing and reauthorizing the app with your Adobe ID (found in the “Settings” menu).

If this does not work, deleting and reinstalling the app should resolve the issue. Please note that this will clear your bookshelf, history and app settings.

Please see http://overdriveblogs.com/library/2013/09/19/overdrive-media-console-ios-7-crash-resolutions for complete details.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and trust that OverDrive will have this problem fixed shortly. If you need any additional help with our digital collection, please call us at 616-784-2007 or fill out our Support Request Form.
