9/11 Post
Every year teachers let me know that this post has become part of their classroom 9/11 curriculum, so I will continue to post it every year. Here it is, for those who weren’t around that day:

9/11/2001 was one of those rare days where sloth was rewarded. I know several people who are still alive today because they were late to work that morning, or stopped to get coffee to help them feel a little less groggy.

9/11 never affected ME personally or anyone I know, and yet like always meg can make me cry about something I never thought about too much.

i was crying while reading this post... Oh my God...
Wow...well thanks for the cry. It was good to get out of my own head and think about other people again. Thank you.
I was in my English class as the announcement came over the intercom for teachers to turn on the television and that morning I saw everything in front of my eyes as I tried not to cry, anyways another announcement came over the intercom that parents were coming to get their kids out of school for rest of the day, me and my siblings stayed in school that whole day not many students were in class. Anyways 9/11/2001 has changed a lot of people including myself since the tragedy.
Wow I think my heart just died a little. I didn't know about half that stuff. All i knew was that some crazy terrorists crashed into the towers with a plane and they fell over. I had no idea that people jumped and that they got stuck in fiery rooms, and that all those firemen died....why don't they tell us these things at school.
