A Chick Lit novel....make summer last. Join Roni on an adventure in the Bahamas

It seemed like even more food than
the last time, piled high with fish fingers and fries. Maybe Roe had asked them
to put some extra on. Roni started in on the fish. Oh yeah, it was crunchy on the outside and tender white flaky on
the inside. At home, she would have baked it or grilled it, but it was incredibly
tasty fried. Several other parties came into the bar and Roe got busy, taking
orders, making drinks, and delivering them. Roni watched Roe move around as she
ate; by the time Roe was caught up, Roni was finished eating.

            “Ya
ain' finished. Ya eat like a bird,” Roe said in dismay.

            “Oh
yes, I’m finished. Like I told you, it’s too much food for me,” Roni said, sliding
the plate toward her.
Roe took a fry and popped it in her
mouth as she moved the plate to the back of the bar.
