When you first settle down to write an erotic romance after reading so many of them, it may seem deceptively easy:  just dream up swags of hot, hot, hot sex scenes, and add an "I love you" scene at the end and you're done.

But an erotic romance – a good erotic romance – is a highly complex species and while piling on the sex and a happy ever after scene will maybe get you published, it won't get you rave reviews and it certain won't win you long term fans and readers…or big royalty cheques.  N...
