Publishing / Writing Children's Books

Though my choice of book is quite eclectic, from the Rabbi Jonathan Sack's "The Great Partnership: Science, Religion, and the Search for Meaning" to Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice to Tan TWan Eng's The Garden of Evening Mists, I will devote this blog to reviewing children's books.

The problem of illiteracy in the U.S. and across the globe is enormous. Lack of literacy amongst children means results in a growing number of illiterate adults. Illiteracy, according to statistical data, inevitably leads to a life of poverty and lack of opportunity. All elements that may engender choosing anti-social and criminal ways of life.

Introducing children to the wonderful world of books is a gift every parent, grandparent, god parent, and caring friends should present the child(ren) in their lives! And do so by choosing well written, entertaining, and fun books that also teach life lessons.

This blog will promote MazorRooks publications that fit the description of "good children's book" (well written, entertaining, fun and promoting a good value) as well as the creations of authors not associated with MazorBooks whose creations, in my opinion, will enrich a child's life.

Happy reading!

Sarah
