Let's All Praise The Lord

Picture The "th" in Thursday reminds me to be thankful each week. Today I am thankful for the love, healing, forgiveness, provision, grace, mercy, patience, endurance, perseverance, and overwhelming blessings in my life. All possible because God chooses to bless me. I don't deserve any of it yet God "chooses" to bless. Is that not cool or what?

As graduation approaches and summer vacation is close enough to touch my heart is focused. Relay for life is tomorrow, an annual reminder of cancer's impact on our society. While this event weighs the loss of family, and this year, my dear friend LMD on my heart...it also encourages me. God is the Great Physician and Healer. The Bible tells us our days are already written and determined, only God knows when we will take our last breath. Instead of focusing on the loss, I choose to turn my eyes upward and trust Him and celebrate life.

There might not be a cure for cancer, yet. Children and adults remain missing, for now. Death is a part of life yet when you have a relationship with Jesus, acknowledge you're a sinner, repent of your sins, and give it all to God to carry. You have the promise and hope of eternity in heaven, eternal life.

I don't know what tomorrow, or even five minutes from now brings BUT I know who is in charge of it all, so I choose to praise God for it all. There is so much good in this world, sometimes we just need a reminder to focus on the positive with our eyes focused above instead of inward. What can you celebrate and thank God for today?
