Be Your Own Cheerleader
Many times people say that they can’t achieve what they want to achieve — they can’t be what they want to be, do what they want to do, or have what they want to have because of the start they had in life. They may say they came from poverty or their parents were uneducated, or there was nobody there to encourage them on — nobody there to cheer for them.
I would like to remind you that you could be your own cheerleader. In fact, I believe, being one’s on cheerleader is mandatory for a fulfilled life.
It doesn’t matter what your story is. It doesn’t matter where you came from. Almost every day we can hear stories of people who came from what we would describe as rags and went to riches. By riches I don’t necessarily mean incredible amounts of money. I mean an incredible sense of self-worth and the ability to feel happy and peaceful.
Become your own cheerleader. Learn to talk to yourself in a way that builds you up. Be on your own side. Stop waiting for others to compliment you or tell you what you can or cannot do. Advice or wisdom from others can be a good thing. However, don’t let what others say or don’t say to or about you destroy your dreams.
Be you own cheerleader!
