Warning! Harper’s about to try promo :-D

Yes, take cover, everyone! It’s 1st June, and *Brothers of the Wild North Sea*, my first historical M/M novel, is on a countdown to release from Samhain Publishing on the 11th. Now, you know that I love talking with all of you and having fun on LJ and FB, but when it comes to actual marketing, I struggle.

However, this time I have help, and that’s going to make it all a lot more enjoyable. As you’ll see from the graphic, 11th June is our Scorching Summer release-day event. This terrific idea is the brainchild of my friend Mari Carr, and I’ll be sharing a Samhain release date with her and three other talented and very friendly authors – Shelli Stevens, Erin Nicholas and Joely Sue Burkhart. We’re a diverse bunch, offering among other genres contemporary M/F, historical M/M and even some steampunk S/F!

We’re going to be celebrating our new books with a blog tour and some pretty cool prizes, including a $50 gift cert for Amazon or Barnes & Noble, and some nifty individual gifts of our own. Just in case anyone has forgotten already that I suck at marketing, whilst the other ladies thought up smart ideas for naming their gifts, the best I could do for my signed drinks coaster and mousemat was “Harper’s Wild North Coast(er)”.
