Re-reading the Classics

I love new books. I love reading what's current. I love being up on the trends in young adult literature. But I also believe it's equally important to return to our roots now and then. So I just finished re-reading John Knowles' "A Separate Peace." I remember liking it when I read it the first time in high school. After re-reading, I remember why. (Though I suspect I have added appreciation for it with the accumulation of years and life experiences.) It's precisely what a book should be...
