Promises, Promises Update

The response to Promises, Promises is overwhelming. I am thrilled and so very grateful to those of you who took the time to contact me or leave a wonderful review through Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, Amazon or email.

That being said, I have also read numerous complaints about the capitalization of HIM, HIS and HE. Obviously, it was never my intent to upset or annoy any reader. I was merely trying to refer to Izzy’s ex in a manner that would allow the reader to feel the same disgust or hatred she would feel. In no way would I ever want to annoy my readers, so I went through and changed the capitalizations to italics. I hope this resolves the problem for those who found it distracting. (Next time I’ll listen to my editor who told me to change it to italics!)

You can update your kindle version by visiting your ‘manage your kindle’ page on Amazon, then click on books and find Promises, Promises. It will show ‘updated version available’ and you can update through that link.

I had not intended on writing a spin off book to Promises; however, due to the amount of comments I received asking if I would, how could I resist? I have some ideas and I think you will really enjoy what I have in store for you!

Again, I want to thank everyone who took a chance on me. I really appreciate your comments and rave reviews!

Lisa Yay! I look forward to your next book.

╰☆╮ LovesToRead ╰☆╮ To be honest, I think I'll keep the version I have. The capitalization was the first clue as to how disgusted, ashamed, dejected, hurt and angry she was. Referring to HIM that way not only drilled home the level of disrespect and abuse she suffered, but had me as a reader more and more curious to find out how and why. I, too, look forward to another book.
