Comment on Are You One of the Exiles? by Cheryl

I am a 54 year old woman, who left the ‘organized’ church over 30 years ago in Florida. Two home churches and one state later; with the raising of four wonderful children thrown in the mix, I am still in the new diaspora. I have been fortunate and blessed to be a part of another free radical church family, where I am now, that welcomes the LGBT community with open arms, atheists, the tattooed and pierced and especially the ‘disillusioned from birth’ Christian. And I agree, God is doing something wonderful and has been doing something wonderful, for a very long time now. BTW, we call ourselves The Exiles. I was very encouraged to read this blog. Thank you!!
