Passion and Purpose

It seems like forever since I last posted! Time is zipping by and news of the my debut novel "Last Train to Omaha" is travelling at the speed of sound across international waters with excellent reviews. Thanks to all who have supported me and my characters throughout our respective journeys.

I've been extremely busy hacking out the outline of the screenplay based on the book and learning very quickly how difficult and time consuming writing for film really is. However, I continue to be up for the challenge. I've also started carving out some ideas for my new novel (no title yet - but I'm getting there!). I've decided that I need to dedicate as much of my time and energy to writing. I recently appeared as a guest author on Suko's Notebook where she asked me to talk about my writing experience. The comments from viewers were so inspirational and heartfelt. I encourage you to visit her blog at http://www.sukosnotebook.net/2013/04/...

I've learned so much about myself over the past year that sometimes I wonder who I was before breast cancer. Someone who continues to keep me on track is my very good friend and life coach, Suzanne Simcox (from beautiful British Columbia!) who teaches me everyday how important it is to live my life with passion and purpose. Suzanne interviewed me last month and I'd like to share it with you to give you some insight into who I am and how I relate to my characters in Last Train to Omaha.

You can check it out the interview on Sue's website at http://www.suzannesimcox.com/?p=442 (Dynamic Life Solutions)

Enjoy it my friends! I promise not to take so long in between blogs the next time around. In the meantime, happy writing and reading. Love, Ann. xo
