I'm a complete amateur in this whole blogging field, so please help me out here, lol.
I often read quotes which mean something to me and I'd like to share something I read this week which encouraged me. It's by Nicky Gumbel, an amazing vicar in Holy Trinity Brompton Church, London, UK.
He said:
"Just because you are struggling does NOT mean you are failing. Every great success requires some kind of struggle to get there."
I love that. Don't you?

Yes, Liz! I do so love that. Sometimes when we struggle with something we think we should've conquered by now it does feel like failure. But we do have to remember that God is at work, Hallelujah! He is working out. We just have to keep walking it out.

Hi Liz,I was so glad to find the Christian Women group on spirituality and growth. I, too, love the quote from Nikky Gumbel. And when there is success, it is sweet to the soul. "The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul..." (Proverbs 13:19).
