Throughout the years I have seen how one simple act can send lives in a tailspin. I have also experienced firsthand how one tragic event can alter your life extensively. Well that's what happened in the Anna Brown story. I first learned about Anna Brown on Facebook and began to research a little more about what actually happened.

It devastated me to learn this woman was judged by others, denied health care, and basically "sentenced to death" because of her status in life. In a country where we have hundreds of thousands of immigrants seeking a better life, one horrible event can have you treated like garbage on the street.
