Snow and ice and bone-chilling rain in Minnesota and Wisconsin this week while I'm in Georgia visiting friends and doing research for the Play Dead sequel due to the publisher September 1. Yesterday was a boat trip to Daufuskie Island, South Carolina (The Water is Wide, Pat Conroy).
