Yay!!! Data recovery

They were able to restore my old Mac's operating systems and save all my data. My relief knows no bounds. I bought an external back up and will try with all my might to remember to back everything up every day. (I've made this vow to myself before though - - but am easily distracted - - so we'll see how it goes.)

Anyway, Some of the art I thought lost is found, and i've posted an illustration from the last chapters of "Shifting the Balance" on the art page.

J. Vaughn Yay! So glad you got your files back.

I lost about a month's worth of writing last summer when my MacBook was stolen and it was miserable having to rewrite it. I think it took twice as long as the first time around mainly because I had to pause and lick my wounds for several weeks.

Since then I've been trying to remember to back up to the cloud (Dropbox) on a regular basis. I did some research looking for a product that would automatically backup selected folders to the cloud but couldn't find one. Dropbox will MOVE everything to the cloud if you're not careful!

That must be such a relief for you not to have lost your work.
