I did not realize I had written a public message. Now it is public information that I don't know how to use this site and, I will add, am incompetent on the internet (other than having the tendency of making a fool of myself--I seem to be a professional at this)Being as this is public, I would like to emphasize the fact that Paul Siegell is very talented, creating work in a variety of styles.
Paul's book "jambandbootleg" is absolutely brilliant (please see my review)--
I am still enjoying the physicality of Paul's new book (I did the same thing with Bok's book, Enoia.
I want to publish the review I wrote on "jambandbootleg" but did not want to do it according to the formula of:
poem
commentary of poem
poem
philosophy of poetry and exhibition of erudite knowledge
poem
conclusion by author
because I felt this book was a gestalt--a whole experience. I will say for now that Paul Siegell's new book made me see how rightly I had seen Paul's work in the light of "gestalt"--a single poem, a small book meant to be carried. also, an amazing feat to have created this visual beauty of a book all in WORD.
