Charmeine knew the Blood-Hunter woman wanted her and would think nothing of killing Baby Hunter. Right away she acquiesced and held her hands over her stomach pleading, “No please! I will do anything you want, just do not hurt my baby! Please!”
Athena saw the radiant and intense fear in Charmeine. She knew the woman was threatening Baby Hunter. She looked at the gun pointed at her Auntie Charmeine’s belly.
She noticed the Blood-Hunter woman did not have any aura at all. It was then that Athena knew the Blood-Hunter woman was from Lucifer.
When the woman pushed the gun in her Auntie’s belly again and harder, Athena got angry! Following her instincts, Athena sent a yellow shockwave to the woman, and the gun flew up in the air.
The Blood-Hunter woman fumbled to get the gun.
Percival went into a dive to get the gun scooping it like Derek Jeter catching a baseball for a double play.
By that time, Charmeine had the Blood-Hunter woman by the throat choking her with white lightning. She said with viciousness, “You nasty thing! You disgusting excuse for a Blood-Hunter woman! You make threats against my baby?” Shaking her head, Charmeine threatened, “Listen, you Bitch from Hell, you have no idea who you are fooling with!” She tried to control her anger as she asked, “What is a piece of Blood-Hunter trash like you doing here at my home?”
The Blood-Hunter woman was choking from Charmeine’s shocks.
With her power still choking the woman, Charmeine ordered, “Now, here’s how we are going to do it. When I let you go, you are going to tell me the truth.” She loosened her lightning around her neck but the Blood-Hunter woman could not move anywhere on her body.
The Blood-Hunter woman with indigo eyes asked with disbelief, “How? How can you hold me without touching me?”
With superiority, Charmeine cautioned, “Well now, not that it matters much to a degenerate like you, but I have a whole bunch of tricks up my sleeve you filthy blood-sucker!” She walked to the children, and put her hands on their shoulders mainly for support as she was tired, worn out, and exhausted. But she could not show her weakness. She took a big breath. “What is your purpose here?”
Taking in a sucking breath, the Blood-Hunter woman said in a strained voice, “I am on an errand for my Master.”
“Okay that was the truth. I see you are good for something,” she said with a smile and asked, “Who in the Hell is your Master?”
The woman struggled trying not to answer.
Charmeine’s powers were becoming weaker.
With just the fraction of her power down, the Blood-Hunter woman reached in her pocket and put a needle in her neck.
She ran to the Blood-Hunter woman and tried to stop her. The Blood-Hunter woman’s needle-filled hand reached her neck within an instant and emptied the barrel into her own neck. She collapsed in the entrance way between the Formal Rose Garden and the Grand Hall.
Charmeine bent down to feel for a pulse but there was none. Panicked, she yelled, “NO, damn you Bitch from Hell! I need more information!” She ordered, “Percival make sure the Blood-Hunter men are secure. If they resist, shock the Hell out of them. Athena, call security and tell them to sound the intruder alarm, so our family will hurry back.”
Charmeine looked at the Blood-Hunter woman. She was so very beautiful, and for a moment, she looked like an Angel in the moonlight. She bent down and felt again to see if the woman had any pulse and couldn’t find one. As the alarms began to go off, she lunged over three feet and threw up. She wiped her mouth and snapped, “Damn it to Hell!”
