The Reads-4-Tweens blog posted their list of favorite books that you might have missed in 2012 and Hapenny Magick was on it!

The Reads-4-Tweens blog, a site dedicated to  book reviews aimed at the adults who care about the books that kids aged 8 to 12 (give or take a few years) might be reading. While there’s no reason kids shouldn’t explore the site, the reviews are full of spoilers— intended to inform caregivers about content. The site is also intended to provide a place where parents, grandparents, teachers, librarians, and anyone else who cares can talk about the issues that arise with young readers. You can even add your own reviews!
