27 DAYS OF GIVING THANKS: ONLINE COMMUNITY
http://www.stockfreeimages.com/Today I would love to give thanks to the wonderful online community of supporters and new friends I have made through blogging and writing my book. I am a somewhat reserved (shy) person by nature even in the online community where you don't actually have the face-to-face contact. Therefore, I was somewhat hesitant on asking advice on numerous issues and concerns that I encountered when I first began this journey. And I still have dozens more everyday, but I continue seeking knowledge to uncover the answers. There have been a plethora of people coming forward to offer kind words of advice or wisdom to help me grow and stay on the right track. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support that has been given to me in my blogging and my writing. I can say that I am truly humbled and honored by your kind and generous hearts. I am sure many of you have experienced what I am referring to at some point in your journey also.Cute Coconut Mommagazine featured my blog on last week's Front Hop. I did not expect it and was completely grateful and humbled. I received a message on my blog from Rina over at Cute Coconut informing me that I was featured there. Thanks so much for all that you do at your blog to support me and others like me striving to build a following and do what we enjoy most, writing. You can visit Rina @ http://cutecoconut.com/
I cannot say enough thanks to fellow author Mrs. Chicki Brown. She is phenomenal in her own right with the gifts and talents she holds in writing. However, she has taken it upon her to assist other upcoming authors by featuring us on her blog at various points in time. In September she was supposed to feature me on her blog for one day; yet, I was actually featured for over one day. Yesterday, with a group of other talented authors she featured me again, highlighting my book and where to purchase it at. But above and beyond that I reached out to her when I first began and she gave me so much feedback and knowledge. She has shared valuable links with me, advice, and material for me to review. I believe I am forever indebted to her, because there are some things that you just cannot put a price on. Thanks Chicki. You can check out her blog Sister Scribbler @ http://sisterscribbler.blogspot.com/ where she is featuring another author today, and where she highlights many of her books.
I am thankful for the ladies hosting the weekly blog hops to enable us to meet new bloggers and gain more followers. Some of these include:
Harvest of Friends Weekend Blog Hop: http://www.oureverydayharvest.com
Friendly Friday Blog Hop: http://www.todaywiththetennerys.com
The Weekend Blog Walk: http://www.athometake2.com/
It is because of these hops that I gained a new reader. I met Maya through one of these hops and she visited my site, purchased my book, and gave me feedback that had me walking on cloud 9 all day. She has wonderful fashion style as well as home decorating skills. Her blog is "Perfectly Imperfekt" and she can be found at http://perfectlyimperfektme.blogspot.....
Once again I am thankful for the wonderful online community. You ladies are the best.
Please join me by clicking one of the follow links in the right hand corner. You may also join through email to receive updates. Thank you for visiting and please feel free to leave a comment.
