Self-Published vs. Traditional-Published – Is this really the argument we should be having?

Occasionally, I read articles or blog posts that just go through me like a bolt of lightning and come out the other side like rancid meat. And I know… I KNOW these articles are meant to do this. From the very title, I KNOW the author (or the publication)is trying to get a rise out of me.
