English: Jacob Wrestling with the Angel. Česky...

Lord Cromwell furrowed his brow, got up, went across the room and poured a glass of water from a silver pitcher.  He offered it to Charmeine.
She said, “It’s probably laced with drugs because I wouldn’t put anything past you.”
Lord Cromwell smirked and said, “Angel I promised I would not hurt you.  This is just cold water.  Drink the water.  It will settle your stomach.”
Charmeine took it and drank a few sips.  Her stomach settled down.
He patted her back and asked, “Better now?’
She nodded.
He took the glass and put it on the coffee table.
She was in awe that he was kind to her.  Charmeine said weakly, “You cannot be Uriel.  He was an Angel of good and you are…”
“That is where your black and white philosophy of the world fail you Angel.  What makes you think that my works have NOT created a higher consciousness in humanity?” he asked.
Lord Cromwell got up and moved the glass to the other side of the coffee table and sat directly in front of Charmeine looking her in the eyes.  He calmly asked, “Do humans not band together in times of need and strife?  Does humanity not rise to overcome death and destruction?  You do not realize the darkest times have brought God’s light and love to the forefront.  God knows this.  You said earlier, ‘God knows everything,’ and I know for a fact that He does, absolutely.  But… there is always free will.”
“Cromwell, you have caused so much death and destruction, pain and heartache… God have mercy on your soul.”

“Yes Angel, He has mercy on my soul because I am part of His design.  How can you be so black and white in your thinking when you have witnessed one of the most hideous and insidious acts portrayed on humanity in millennia on 9/11?”
“Oh… My… God… You?” she inquired with terror in her eyes.
“No!  NEVER!” he vehemently replied.  He looked hurt as he gazed into her eyes.  He shook his head in disgust.  “That act was senseless and horrible!  Humanity all over the Earth came together and screamed to God in a shout of alarm!  God heard their prayers, thoughts, fears and woes!  God is absolute in His power!”  He shook his head and ran his fingers back through his hair.  He continued and said, “God is omnipotent, but there is a grand design which only God knows.  No Angels, not even Archangels has knowledge of what God knows.  However, you have to realize we are all part of God’s grand design… even I have a purpose.”
“So you didn’t…?”
“No Angel, that pointless deed was portrayed with free will.  I cannot control free will,” he said as he gently touched her forearm.  He whispered, “However, I know this much is true, I have seen parts of God’s grand design,” while he looked her in the eyes.  Lord Cromwell touched her cheek and sighed at the feel of her skin under his fingers.  He said, “I have had a purpose all along.  You, my Angel, only see the black in my assignment, but believe me, there are more shades of grey than you know in my mission.”
“You have a mission Cromwell?”
“Yes, but I am lost without my heart,” he answered as he took her hand and put it on his chest his eyes started to water.
Charmeine was struggling to breathe, her head was spinning.
Cromwell took her in his arms and held her tightly.
Charmeine’s world, the world which she was sure God was her protector and Tabbruis was her soul mate was falling apart.  She instantly thought of Tabbruis and pulled away from Cromwell.  Charmeine put her arms across her as if she had Tabbruis in her arms.
Seeing this, knowing why she pulled away from him and frustrated on how to proceed, he said, “Angel, you are mine.”

Tunnels appeared in Charmeine’s vision.  Flashes of light began to bombard her reality.  Charmeine’s head exploded in pain.  Her heart began to skip beats.  She began to sweat and clutched her chest.
She cried out in excruciating pain. Her heart which had already been injured by Bathsheba’s dagger… now had a sword run through it. That sword was Cromwell!
She screamed in terror and felt like she was being tortured.  The agony was intense and unrelenting.  Charmeine’s heart was under attack!  Her heart was literally ripping in half in torment, agony and pain.
Never before had she experienced such anguish.  Tears and sweat soaked her face.  She yelled, “Semper Tua Ero Tabbrius!”
As she fell to the floor, Charmeine’s heart stopped beating…

Good and Bad are to be played out in Unison together…
We cannot exist without them both.  However, it is how we chose to deal is what sets apart.
May we all endeavor to have the strength…
