Writing, planning and research

Still working on Shattered Frost. Slowly...but surely. Right now I'm trying to come up with a holiday for Everafter since the story takes place during Winter. But I want to stay away from the whole Christian version of holidays since in Everafter they lean more towards the magical elements that bring about the seasons. In the fairy realm there's a new queen that handles the seasons.

For example:

Snow Queen = Winter
Queen Mab = Autumn
Queen Titania = Summer and Spring. This is temporarily until I find a new Spring Queen. I'm leaning towards Blodeuwedd (seriously...read it. It's fascinating)

And it's going to be a week long celebration of Winter, and welcoming the Snow Queen. It's going to be festivities for a week, from January 14th til the 21st. Don't know why I chose those dates. I just like them. 

I'm also going to design Bianca and Ming's gowns. Which will be loads of fun. :)

Definitely going to play with these characters and make them as unique as possible. I think people are going to like my twist on them. It will be unexpected. :)
