He needed to make her want him, reel
her in slowly so she didn’t even recognize what was happening.  Linda wanted to say something to him like ‘I
know your game’ but she didn’t dare, it was none of her business.  She’d learned that lesson also, you couldn’t
stop it; if people were going to have an affair they would, despite anyone’s
efforts.
