“THANK GOD WHEN SATAN ATTACKS YOU”



When you are being attacked by Satan the first thing you need to do is realize you’re not the only one. The second thing you need to do is to get down on your knees and thank God. Yes, I said thank God. You need to thank God because as long as Satan is “after you” it means he doesn’t “have you.” Satan only fights for what is not his or for what he has lost. If he already owns you he doesn’t have to waste his time attacking you because you’re already his. Satan does not fight for what he already owns.



The Bible says in 1 John 3:8, But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. Now giving your life to Christ is one sure fire way to upset Satan. He just gets down right mad, because now he’s lost something that he once owned and he’s not going to give it up without a fight. So, above all, you need to prepare yourself for battle, because Satan is now going to attack you with full force. He’s going to give you both barrels. He will try to put every type of hindrance or obstacle his evil mind can think of in your way.



Whatever you do, please don’t think for one minute that Satan is stupid or weak. However, Satan can only “have” power if you “give” him power. So when he puts an obstacle in your way and it causes you to stumble or he hinders you with his evil spirits when all your trying to do is the right thing, just know that he can only “have” power over your life if you “give” him power.



If things are being turned completely upside down in your life, or every time you take 2 steps forward you feel like your being pushed back 5, or horrible things are coming your way and you don’t know what your going to do, I want you to remember that in all things you’ve always got 2 choices. You can either give the power to Satan to take care of you or give the power to God to take care of you. Satan or God.



I have never known Satan to take care of me or love me or do me anything but harm. However, my precious Heavenly Father takes care of me every second of every day. He gave His only Son to die for my sins. He holds me in the palm of His hand and loves me more than I even have the capacity to imagine. So, for me there really is no choice at all. The ONLY one I will give the power to is God. God will be the only one to ever have power over my life and for that I will give Him thanks and praise daily. Ever since I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior I have belonged to Him and He belongs to me forever. The Bible says in 1 John 3:9, Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God.



So just remember, when you are being attacked by Satan the first thing you need to do is realize you’re not the only one. The second thing you need to do is to get down on your knees and thank God. Thank God because that means you belong to Him and not Satan.
