A Groaner!!

Annie’s romantic interests, Forrest and Buddy,were planting trees for her.Buddy was hard of hearing and missed a lot of things going on around him.They had a mishap,when a tree fell on Forrest.Forrest called out to Buddy,but got no reaction.He was just out of hearing distance.This begs the question:

If a tree falls on her Forrest,does Annie’s Buddy hear?
