The Inside view from Parasouls: Divine Intervention
I was blessed to have Michele Richard stop by for a visit. With a cup of coffee for me, and a glass of ice tea for her, we began chatting. She indulged me while I picked her brain a few times about one of my favorite books of hers: Parasouls: Divine Intervention.

1) How did Parasouls come about? Was there any one person or things that inspired the story? There were many things that played into the inspiration of Parasouls. It’s a little hard to narrow it down to just one thing. I had been listening to ET by Katy Perry, a friend had posted a picture of her son on Facebook, and I’d gone food shopping. I get my best ideas while shopping. Freezer section works best for me. So all those things would seem uninspiring to most, to me: it churned into a full story overnight.
2) When writing Parasouls, what did you do to get yourself in the mindset of writing the Paranormal?*Taps chin wondering if I ever left that mindset.* Music played a huge part into my writing mood. Paranormal themes or music will definitely keep the juices flowing.
3) Parasouls: Divine Intervention is the first book in a series. How many are you planning?Right now there are three confirmed and a possible fourth depending on how the first three unfold.
4) Parasouls: Divine Intervention is not your first book. Give me a rundown of all your releases as to date.
Mocked by series:Mocked by DestinyMocked by FaithMocked by Faith ~ Healing the Faith
Parasouls series:Divine Intervention
Short stories:Changes of the Heart (Life is More Than Candy Hearts)
5) What’s next for you?Next up is Mocked by Faith ~ Affirming the Faith to complete that title series. I am also working on a short story, YA romance named 10 Days to Love, plus Mocked by Fate, which is another YA, and Parasouls ~ Double Edge Sword. With that said you never know which story will scream the loudest to be completed first.
