Hi, friends and readers:

What do you think of the photo I’ve posted at left? In my opinion, a jock strap flatters a young man’s physique better than any other garment will, especially if the young man in question has a rear end as lovely as this guy’s. Aye-yi-yi ….

I rose quite early this morning, for my usual two-mile walk on the beach. The time was just after seven AM, so the temperature wasn’t too warm. Things seem to be returning to normal, after the tropical storm and tornado we endured last week. Sand washed away is returning to the shore, and the sea birds are back. Of course, there is still much to be done. Many of our beach benches are half-way buried in sand, and flotsam keeps washing ashore. Months will pass before it’s all corrected, but at least we still have our dunes and sea oats.

I took a swim in the Gulf and the end of my walk. The water was cool and clear. I chased a small stingray off when I entered the water. They aren’t dangerous unless you step on them. So, you shuffle your feet when you move about. I spent about five minutes, just sitting in the water and savoring the beauty of my surroundings. How I love living on this island.

I spent about three hours writing this morning. After lunch, I have projects to work on, here at the house. Nothing exciting, but I’ll keep busy. I won’t do anything outdoors until after six PM, it’s just to hot out there.

A friend’s coming over this evening, while my handsome boyfriend’s at work. My friend and I will dine out, somewhere here on the island. He’s a former roommate from my law school days, and it’s always good to see him.

Have a nice Tuesday, everyone.
