Why a Dystopian World of Cyberpunk and Magic? A Story Behind the Writing of Volume I (The Final Circuit)
​Hello and welcome to my blog!
​I'm Rian Kross, author of the Zero Frequency Rider trilogy, and I want to tell you why I chose to write such an... intense SF/Fantasy story.
​Inspiration: From Real Problems to Virtual Reality
​The idea for The Final Circuit was born from my fascination with two seemingly opposite things:
​Technology and Addiction: How much we rely on artificial intelligence and networks. I asked myself: What happens when the network not only fails, but also starts to hate? When algorithms learn to be evil?
​Classical Mythology: Although I write Sci-Fi, I am always inspired by archetypal battles between good and evil, between old forces and the new order.
​This is how the world of The Final Circuit was born – a city immersed in advanced technology (Cyberpunk), where forbidden magic begins to seep through the cracks of the system. It is not just a fight for survival, but a fight for the human soul in a completely digital world.
​Who is Rian Kross?
​In everyday life, I am fascinated by (you can add a brief detail about your passions – e.g. technology, history, video games), but when I write, I transform into an architect of worlds.
