Busch Light Is Calling All People Named Hunter (and Those Who Wish They Were) to Wisconsin for the Ultimate Gathering

Wisconsin draws hunters of all kinds in the fall for deer, turkey, and waterfowl. This November, Busch Light is adding another draw to that list with one of its biggest fan events: a massive gathering in Appleton of people named Hunter — and those willing to change their name to Hunter.
The Hunter-gathering party revolves around the brand’s 19th annual limited-edition Hunting Cans. Those already named Hunter are in luck, but the buck doesn’t stop there. It’s also giving one fan the chance to legally change their name to “Hunter,” and Busch Light is covering the paperwork and the beer for people looking to bag more 12-packs than 12-point deer. Deer season, meet beer season, even if that means packing name tags not deer tags.
The Appleton event will have Busch Light Hunting Cans, of course, along with hunting games, merch drops, and an appearance from the Busch Guy himself. The exact venue is yet to be announced, but fans 21 and older can secure a spot between September 29 and October 27.
For the unfamiliar, Busch Light has celebrated hunting season for years by encouraging drinkers to hunt for one of the 500 Blaze Orange Trophy collectible cans hidden in packs. Find one, and you could win a five-day whitetail rifle hunt in Missouri with the Keefer Brothers, complete with airfare and lodging. The prize adds up to 19 years’ worth of Busch Light, enough to keep the fridge stocked through countless openers and late-season sits. The conservation angle continues this year, too: Busch Light is marking its fifth year of partnership with Ducks Unlimited by donating $50,000 to protect wetlands and wildlife habitat.
So whether you’re chasing a trophy buck or a trophy can, Busch Light’s message is clear: deer season meets beer season, and this year the best rack might just be in your cooler.
