Dissolution by Nicholas Binge broke my heart in the opening chapter, a trend that would continue throughout. There's a way that people write about loss that can bridge across whatever the narrative is, and form a bond with the reader. Nicholas Binge does it deftly, again and again. If you can make me choke up in the first 10 pages, when I'm not even emotionally invested in the characters yet, then you better believe I'm sticking around for the finish.
