Recently, I’ve been watching the British TV series Blake’s 7, which ran in the late 1970s and early 1980s. As with many TV series I enjoy, I pay attention to the writing credits. This is a habit I picked up in childhood from watching the original Star Trek, where I discovered authors such as Harlan Ellison, Norman Spinrad, Jerome Bixby, and David Gerrold.
