birds count, right? what about bugs?
bugs are super cool & totally wild.
who can’t find a wild animal?
surely there are birds & bugs around
squirrels?
they may seem tame
but just try to pick one up.
i see deer almost every day
fox
rabbits
squirrels, sparrows, & bugs
eagles & hawks
turkey vultures
junkos, finches, woodpeckers, chickadees, blue jays, cardinals, doves
hummingbirds
geese & ducks
crows & ravens
coyotes if i’m lucky…but they do at least leave their poop around
raccoons
opposums
muskrats
skunks
i live where i live
because i love nature & would be super sad
if i didn’t see wild animals
even the bugs
sometimes i just sit in my yard & watch the bugs
i’m going to be in a tizzy all day now
because somebody felt they had to ask this question
& there are probably people out there
who don’t notice the wild world
around them
even if it’s only in the cracks
in the pavement.
