Abstract and Reality

My books have received critical feedback on being too unrealistic, intangible, and abstract. One person blatantly said I am not in touch with humanity.

My question is, how is humanity not abstract? It is the most ideal and assumed idea attached to the human species. Reality is the state of things as is without coloring. It is whatever you perceive with your five senses and don't let your knowledge interfere with that observation. Our experiences and memories are also reality. Is dreaming and hallucinating a reality then since it is many times a memorized experience? No, it isn't. When we are scrutinizing sanity, only tangible things are considered real.

But bodiless things like beliefs, personality, and humanity are variable. Our belief and personality can't be boxed and changes with time. No two humans can show the same sense of benevolence, kindness or compassion. I'd say we are the cruelest species on Earth and perhaps the universe. Also, isn't every human problem abstract? Depression, addiction, loneliness, or competitiveness. The only tangible asset associated with humans is their body and any bodily issues the real problem. Everything else is a software running on it that can be reprogrammed. It uses the body until the body breaks down.

So yes, I love writing abstract theories. People who ponder beyond the idealistic scenarios and behavior can feel the universe itself is abstract and perhaps a simulation. And it is no different from us who live in ideas not reality. Most of what we do is entertainment. An escape from being bored because we cannot stand the thought of being alone.

Guess what? Loneliness is the only way to know we are virtual. What is reality, then? Our body - an autonomous piece of machinery that doesn't need the humanity software to survive.
