10 Book Promotion Sites You’ve Probably Never Heard of…

Let’s take some time and talk about promos I’m in love with. Are you tired of scouring the same old promo sites and finding a lot of the same books over and over? Here are some promo sites to check out!

As an added bonus, many of these are also free for authors to use, so using these helps us reach an audience without breaking our marketing budget.

#1- Get That Book promotion! – This promotion is done every other Friday and also on Black Friday every year. You get new releases as well as freebies and 99 cent deals. I have something of mine in every promo, whether it’s one of my permafrees, a new release, or a 99 cent deal. (Free for authors to enroll.) Click the link below to subscribe to this newsletter. This site also does giveaways, so you may want to watch for those.

#2- KU Obsession – Read in KU? Check out the KU Obsession newsletter. This newsletter showcases recent releases to Kindle Unlimited, so you’re always in the know. Look for Copper there when it releases on Kindle Unlimited in April! Oh, and it’s free for authors to enroll!

#3- Tuesday List – Are you someone who HAS to always know the new releases when they come out? This list is absolutely free for authors to enroll their books in and keeps readers informed of hot new drops!

#4- Love Kissed Books New Releases – It’s kind of the same as Tuesday List, but this list gives you all the new eBook releases for the prior month. (This is also free for authors to use. See a theme here?)

#5- Bookspry – Want deals and freebies? Bookspry is an up-and-coming deal site, and I love it as an author. Authors do have to pay to promote, but it’s reasonable. You’ll get eBook bargains and freebies.

#6- Steamy Lounge – This site works like Love Kissed Books (the same people run it) but this also has the added bonus of having a charity anthology section. Want to support a great cause? Check it out. It’s also free to use for authors promoting an anthology or a new release. (You can also check out their new release section.)

#7 – Stuff Your eReader Day! – This has become incredibly popular and is also Stuff Your Kindle Day. (OK, you’ve probably heard of this.) This only happens at certain times of the year, usually quarterly, but it depends on when Zoe York puts it together. You can get free books on all retailers. (It includes Kobo, Barnes and Noble, and Apple.) You can sign up at the link below to know when it’s going to happen!

#8 – Smashwords coupons – Sometimes, I just feel like offering a deal on a book. Smashwords allows authors to offer special coupons. For example, as of the time I write this (will not last forever) Turkey in Tennesse has a half off coupon. (As an FYI, Smashwords is where you can also find a lot of the especially taboo or elicit erotica that Amazon has banned. Many of them have coupons. You’re welcome.)

#9- Kobo Plus Romance Binge – Read in Kobo Plus? Not sure what Kobo Plus even is? (Click the link to have it explained better than I can, but it works like Kindle Unlimited.) This quarterly promo links you with romance in Kobo Plus so it’s in a nice list you can search!

#10- Best Book Monkey – This is a deal site where you can find books under $5, with most being 99 cents or free. It’s free for authors to promote with the bronze package, and you can usually find a book of mine on there at least once a month!

As always…happy reading!
