Killing Off Chracters.... Your Thoughts?

πŸ…ΊπŸ…ΈπŸ…»πŸ…»πŸ…ΈπŸ…½πŸ…Ά πŸ…ΎπŸ…΅πŸ…΅ πŸ…²πŸ…·πŸ…°πŸ†πŸ…°πŸ…²πŸ†ƒπŸ…΄πŸ†πŸ†‚β€¦β€¦. πŸ†ƒπŸ…·πŸ…ΎπŸ†„πŸ…ΆπŸ…·πŸ†ƒπŸ†‚?

As quite a new Author who is only on his second book I have become quite aware that readers expectations of characters being killed off, don’t always go hand in hand with what you, the writer, is plotting.

My Editor will often provide me feed back in the form of β€œNOOOOOOO!!!!!!....”, So I put it to you all;

πŸ††πŸ†πŸ…ΈπŸ†ƒπŸ…΄πŸ†πŸ†‚: Are there any hard and fast rules I should be generally adhering too?

πŸ†πŸ…΄πŸ…°πŸ…³πŸ…΄πŸ†πŸ†‚: Any particular expectations on untimely demises, before you open the book?

This is going to be fun πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
