For those of you who have reached out to inquire about the terrible incident near my hometown: While one of the parties involved has the same last name as my family, he is unrelated. While I am grateful for your concern, I respectfully ask that you direct your care and support toward the families, friends, and neighbors of the officers fallen in the line of duty.
