As I sat in the drivers license renuewal line, and waited for at least an hour. I was thinking about all of the multi tasking that I do.
Women are especially good at it. We are constantly being a mother, wife, daughter, then add on teacher, nurse and chef.
As an indie writer/author, I now am a marketing guru, blogger, publisher and too many other things to mention.
That means I have to very good at time management or the days get lost and I could easily become overwhelmed.
I adhere to, OR at least attempt to keep to a schedule.
Writing has to be my top priority since if it isn't therre won't be anything to market or talk about!
I happen to think of it as having a job and that's the way that I treat it.
I also try to stick to a word count daily and that really keeps me on track.
Of course things come up, things that I don't expect, but although the schedule may change I still have it to keep me sane and on target.
Are there things that help keep you on task during the day?
Do you have any multi tasking tips to share?

I love talking to readers, you can contact me here, on facebook, friend me on my Elizabeth Loraine page, or 'like' my Royal Blood Chronicles page. Twitter follow @bloodchronicles

Teresa You are so right! Women do seem to be better task managers. I work full time at a new job but still manage to be chief cook, housekeeper while taking care of 28 dogs and 4 horses...I guess we were just meant to stay busy!
