Enchanted Autumn
"Just finished listening to "Enchanted Autumn" by Steve Orchard, released by AD Music.
Now as frequent readers of my reviews here on Facebook and other social media websites, I always reveal when I am friends with an artist. Although I have never met Steve Orchard personally, I do consider us friends and we exchange emails from time-to-time and exchange Christmas cards.
With "Enchanted Autumn," Steve has created another one of his great in the moment with nature and the world albums that combines guitar and piano with synths to take the listener on a journey of walking outside on a brisk Autumn day that is on the cusp of the fading summer and oncoming winter.
My favorite tracks on this CD are: "Japanese Garden," "Altar Flowers," "Puddles," "Old Watermill," "October Moon," and of course "Enchanted Autumn."
Another great album from Steve Orchard! And I've already ordered his latest release, "Macabre" which promises to take his music into a realm that is rarely explored by New Age Music - the eerie underworld of the supernatural where darkness lurks. Hey, I have a undergraduate degree in Gothic literature, what can I say?
