The Professional Noticer: Take Three with Michael Perry

Had the pleasure of my third chat with New York Times super-bestseller Andy Andrews of Alabama. He discovered my books thanks to a tornado and an independent Wisconsin book store, Arcadia Books. We don’t have the same accent, but we talk a lot of the same talk. I so enjoy our visits.

This time we talked about my newest book Hunker: Brief Essays on Human Connection and the reality of the writing life. We also had a great discussion about writing craft and the process for writing novels. We also shot the breeze about what I’m working on now…and I read a story about running into a tree while chasing a chicken and how that might damage a fella’s, um, intellectual property.
