Questions to Consider…Are You Really Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?

In the last few weeks I have thought heavily on Roe v. Wade and the implications of women’s rights. I want to say upfront that this post is not to sway or debate the issue.

It is a post to see where you stand on issues that somehow swirl around this issue.

First off, I want to say I believe every person no matter sex, race, religion, age, ethnicity deserves to have rights. So, with that being said, let the questions begin.

Do you believe someone should be able to tell someone else what they can or cannot do to their body?

What if the person is not in a good mental state, do you believe someone should be able to tell someone else what they can or cannot do to their body?

What if someone is on their deathbed, should someone else be able to tell what they can do to the dying person?

If you see a young person about to smoke for the first time, would you stop them?

If you see someone about to overdose on heroin and you can stop them, would you?

Do you think repeat sexual offenders should undergo chemical or operational castration to keep them from harming someone else?

Do you think the court system should use this type of treatment as a punishment for their habitual crimes?

Do you think that an abortion concerns no one else except for the mother and child?

Do you believe that someone can do whatever they want as long as it’s what they want?

Do you believe God created both animals and humans?

Do you think we are to take care of everything God created?

Do you support animal and environmental rights?

Do you financially give to animal and environmental right organizations?

Do you think it should be a crime to harm an animal?

Do you think humans and animals are equally important?

Do you think living animals should have more rights to life than unborn children?

Do you agree survival of the fittest is accurate in life?

Are you okay if an animal becomes extinct?

Would you label yourself an environmentalist?

Do you recycle and try to live a “green” lifestyle to keep the planet clean?

Do you think it is okay if someone litters?

Do you think it is okay if your neighbor never mowed their grass or took care of their property?

If a rich person bought the entire Amazon rainforest to just cut it down, would you have a problem with it?

What if someone bought a local park with trees and lakes and they turned it to a parking lot, would you have a problem with it?

Do you believe they can do what they want since it is their land?

If a woman aborts her child, do you believe that child has a soul and goes to Heaven?

If a woman miscarries, do you believe that child has a soul and goes to Heaven?

Do you believe euthanizing an invalid is appropriate?

Do you believe euthanizing an aging pet is humane?

Do you believe suicide is a reasonable cause of death?

Do you believe a woman has a right to choose to have an abortion?

Do you believe a man has the right to walk away from his child when it gets tough?

Do you believe a woman has the right to walk away from her child when it gets tough?

Do you believe in court mandated child support?

Do you believe adoption is a viable option instead of an abortion?

If someone said they needed a home for a child, would you take the child in and raise that child for the rest of its life?

Do you fight for the born children as hard as you do for the unborn?

Do you fight for women’s rights in China and other oppressed nations?

Do you believe your actions show what you think you support?

Do you see how these questions are related?

Did you answer the same way whether you are pro life or pro choice?

Or did you answers change depending on the situation around the question?

If you are pro life, should you be pro life in all circumstances?

And if you are pro choice, should you be pro choice in all circumstances.

I failed my own test.
