Limbo Of The Lost

Just finished re-reading "Limbo Of The Lost" by John Wallace Spencer, published by Bantam Books back in 1973.
During the late 1970s there was a popular craze about the possibility of gateways to other dimensions, times, and worlds that was fueled by the popularity of mysteries behind the Bermuda Triangle and the Devils Triangle. Mom was even really furious at Dad during this time when she discovered that she and I had flown into the Bermuda Triangle when we visited Dad when he was temporarily stationed in San Juan, Puerto Rico back in 1967 when I was five years old. So Mom, Dad, and I were interested in the Bermuda Triangle mystery back then.
Mom originally bought "Limbo Of The Lost" when it appeared back in on the shelves in the New Arrivals section at Michelle's Bookstore back in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Dad read it after she finished reading it, and he gave it to me.
I bought my re-reading copy at Chamblin's Bookmine Uptown - another great bookstore in the Chamblin's Bookmine chain.
I really didn't remember anything about "Limbo of the Lost" and when I was re-reading it I kept wondering how a rather dry and boring list of ship disappearances ever became a bestseller.
No real great insights in this book, which is basically here's a ship or plane that disappeared and here's a list of the crew and passengers. That's it.
Not recommended.
Zero Stars.
