One Step Back
Dear Readers,
How is your Tuesday so far? Mine is off to a roaring start. I'm happy to say I have my pumpkin spice coffee in hand and am ready to set to work.
This week I've taken a little time to myself. The characters of Alex and Olive always speak to me at different times and this week their voices have been softer than normal. I have found that when I try too hard to write, the enjoyable task transforms itself into work.
Taking the time to reset and refresh is so important in order to be able to stay on top of your game. So far, it is working. I've been more productive in the last two days than I was all of next week.
I'm in the midst of writing a section where our heroes are exploring the wilds of America's 50th state, Hawaii. There are so many hidden gems on the islands that it can be hard to pinpoint what to highlight.
