Darn! I could have written my "morning papers" while I waited in line this morning to get my car's emission test. I was kind of hoping it would fail because that would give me an excuse to buy a new car (I'm not happy with my 2005 limited edition anti-theft Nisson Altima). I'd really love a Volvo like Edward Cullen drove, but looks like I'm stuck with my so-not-sexy white (only one little fender chip)albatross. Anyway, I failed to take advantage of this opportunity. I think I'll invest in a notebook and ball-point pen. Your coffee-klatch writing group (that's what my mother would have called it) sounds like fun, more fun than solo writing. I do my best writing(I have a hard time using the word "best" with any of my writing) around 2:00 AM. That's when the info-mmercials start on TV and reruns of "Criminal Minds" are over for the day.
BUT, as a betting lady,I'll wager that you end up not failing your "Artist's Way." I can't wait to see how it goes
Abigail - - For the three years preceding my husband's death, we wrote novels(actually, he wrote and I typed the words into the computer). The first of five books has just been published. Does your writer's club critique books? If so, would you give "Maligned" a go? It's available at Amazon or can be ordered at your favorite bookstore, or for an e-device at Smashwords. It's a dystopian look at a time in the future that should be utopian.Kathy Papajohn
